I was born in Chioggia and have lived in this wonderful city all my life. I fondly remember the days of my childhood, when I used to play with my friends in the characteristic ‘calli’ of Chioggia. Playing with marbles and jumping rope were moments of pure fun that made each day unforgettable. Summer was the most awaited time of the year, as we would dive into the canals, especially the picturesque St. Domenico Canal.

Like many people from Chioggia, I come from a family of fishermen. My father and now my brothers continue this ancient traditional activity that has deep roots in our past. Over the years, my heart found love in Roberto, a butcher for generations. Our union was not only that of two people, but also that of two traditions. For years we have continued to run the family butcher shop, now renamed after our son “Da Marcello”. Our passion for local cuisine, famous for its high quality fish, drives us to offer you an authentic and delicious culinary alternative.
