Scarpa della Strega is located in the old town, a stone’s throw from Scarpa Bridge and the famous witches’ house, from which it takes its name. An old popular belief has it that a witch lived in this building; one night, tired of the witch’s ravings, some inhabitants set a trap for her, capturing her. To keep the witches out of the real world forever, a shrine was set up as a seal, inside a niche, depicting a Madonna and Child.
The flat offers a living area with an eclectic blue sofa, a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator and kettle.

 

Two double bedrooms, one on the first floor and one on the second, reached by a few stairs, on a pretty and distinctive mezzanine floor, a bathroom with shower. The accommodation is also equipped with heating, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, towels, and full bed linen.

Bellissimo appartamento progettato con molto buon gusto. Personale molto disponibile. Georgia ci ha dato un sacco di consigli sulla città, sui ristoranti, sui parcheggi Non si trova una posizione migliore a Chioggia! La vista spettacolare sul canale è incredibile. Si può sentire come a Venezia ma senza folla intorno 😀

(Maggio 2024). Abbiamo alloggiato nell’appartamento moderno, pulito, ampio, ideale per 4 persone. La struttura è centrale e posizionata in una zona silenziosa. Il personale addetto alla gestione è stato molto gentile e ci ha dato ottimi consigli. Se dovessimo tornare a Chioggia lo sceglierei nuovamente!

(Luglio 2023) Vi likte beliggenheten veldig godt. Mange gode restauranter rett ved leiligheten. Matbutikker, apotek og shopping!😁 Ble møtt av en veldig hyggelig dame (Giorgia), som møtte oss i det vi kom😊 bare å ringe henne om det manglet noe eller om det var noe vi lurte på. Helt supert!👌

We are Valeria and Marco, a couple from Chioggia united by a great passion for travel. I, Valeria, am a creative and somewhat dreamy teacher, while Marco is a precise and reliable accountant. Together we share a love of adventure and the discovery of new cultures, which often leads us to travel for long periods to destinations that are always different. Before becoming a holiday home, Scarpa della Strega was our home. We have recently renovated it with care and passion, transforming it into a cosy holiday home in the heart of Chioggia. Precisely because we are travellers, we know how important it is to feel at home away from home, which is why we decided to open our doors to those who wish to have an authentic experience in our beautiful seaside town.
