The Apartment

Sotocoverta is located in the Lusenzo Lagoon, the most romantic spot in the city, where you can spend many special moments watching the sun go down. Just a 15-minute walk from the historic center of Chioggia and 10 minutes from the sea, this area has not yet been hit by mass tourism and therefore offers the possibility of living like a true Chioggia local, immersed in its cheerful yet rather laid-back way of life. The facility offers three separate rooms on the ground floor, first floor, and second floor, respectively.

Cabina and Stiva accommodate up to two people and have an open space with a double bedroom, a small fully equipped kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and a dining table.

Cambusa accommodates up to three people, have an open space with a double bedroom, a small fully equipped kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and a dining table. All apartments are also equipped with heating, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, towels, and full bed linen.

The house has a beautiful outdoor space that can be shared by all guests, with a table and sun umbrella for relaxing after a day at the beach or for dinner under the stars, and a laundry room that is available to all guests at any time. If you bring your own bike, you will be able to park it in this space.

(Aprile 2024). La posizione è strategica!!! Un passo da chioggia e 2 minuti a piedi dal centro di sottomarina. A pochi metri c'è un bar dove spesso abbiamo consumato la colazione (brioches buonissime), sempre a DUE passi ci sono: tabacchi, bar, gelaterie, pizzerie ecc. Mai usato l'auto!!!! Ci siamo trovati subito benissimo, la casa è una vera chicca, si trova tra i vicoli tipici di sottomarina.. Fornita benissimo (piatti, bicchieri, tazzine, microonde, moka per il caffè, coperte, asciugamani, asciugacapelli e altro). La pulizia ottima!!!! Siamo stati benissimo 🥰 Ogni qualvolta avremo possibilità ci torneremo per una piccola fuga dallo stress 😊.

Welcome to Sotocoverta, the place where the magic of the lagoon blends with the warm welcome of a unique vacation home.

Our story begins with a window overlooking the lagoon, a window that enters the hearts of all those who have gazed through it. When I was young, opening those windows meant diving into a kaleidoscope of colors: the lagoon painted pink in the morning, green in the afternoon, and wrapped in yellow, red, and purple hues at sunset. In 2001, together with my mother, we opened the city’s first bed and breakfast. It was an adventurous choice born out of the need to get out of a difficult family economic situation, but it turned out to be an extraordinary experience. In addition to offering a cozy retreat, we were privileged to meet fascinating people from all corners of the world. Although fate would later lead me elsewhere, the connection with that little room with the magical view remained intact in my heart, until the unexpected opportunity came: the house next door to my mother’s was for sale. The house needed loving care, but I already had a crystal clear project in my mind. The enthusiasm of when I was a girl came back to burn inside me, and this time I involved my life partner, my husband Andrea, in this somewhat crazy adventure.

Welcome to Sotocoverta This is more than a place to stay, it is the result of a passion that embraces the beauty of the lagoon and the desire to create a special retreat for you.
